A Few Quick Notes

The A-Team movie: It was like The Losers except it was funny, contained appealing characters, was reasonably well-filmed, had a satisfying ending, and didn't make me want to kill everyone in the world starting with the director and ending with me. Four stars!

The first part of the Doctor Who season finale: Without getting into any spoilers here, I'm really not sure how the Doctor's going to get out of this one. Perhaps this is the end and they'll just play some light music for the rest of the series.

E3: Eh. The one thing I'm most looking forward to is the recently announced H.A.W.X. 2. That game was a lot better than it had any right to be, and if they keep improving in the sequel it just might nudge aside Ace Combat in my heart. (Hint to Namco: You'll be much more likely to keep said place in my heart by releasing another gosh-danged game. Or even just stating that there will be one someday.)

If you are trying to use the framebuffer extensions in your SDL OpenGL application on Mac OSX and it keeps saying "error: 'glGenFramebuffersEXT' was not declared in this scope" and you're tearing your hair out trying to figure out why: You need to add #define GL_GLEXT_PROTOTYPES before you #include "SDL_opengl.h". You're welcome!
