And there she goes. I took that cheesy little paper airplane, changed the cursor keys to adjust the plane's rotation while it automatically flew forward, programmed the camera to follow it, and Robert is the brother of your father, as they say. I couldn't be more proud.
As for the technical details I recorded the video using Snapz Pro, slapped it together with background music and a caption in iMovie and uploaded it to YouTube straight from there. All in all it was a... surprisingly painless process, except for when I accidentally got an extra copy of the soundtrack lodged in there and it took a few minutes to find a way to delete it.
